condensation is VERY common for us with angles to the point its pathetic they never manage to find a solution to erradicate the problem. Best thing to do is try heating it up with something like a hair dryer. Don't think the condensation would create further problems though.

Ah cheers man, I love you. I was seriously worried about it.

But now I'm having more car troubles. My car is eating up too much fuel. In fact, it consumes more petrol than my dad's 1.6 and mines only a measly 1.4CL. I put Â£20's worth and only managed to get 130 miles. Surely that's too little? I have no idea what the cause is. My dad reckons that the revs are too high on my car.

Here's a pic of my rev metre, and that's the reading when the car's in neutral and not being revved. My dad says its way too high. What do you guys reckon?

Revs are about right! Try filling the car rightup resetting the odometer and next time you fill up work out the MPG. Mine does about 52 on the motorway at 70mph. If im going around town or having a bit of fun on some back road this drops to about 38MPG, so maby try changing your driving style? Its hard to work out from such approximate figures as youve given, but I recon it should do closer to 180 miles on Â£20.

Fuel consumption depends on how the car is driven but I reckon on the polo that I'm doing OK at 10 miles per quid

Polo's aren't that economical because they are quite heavy for the size of car - but very safe and solid in an accident so that weight penalty is paid for at the pumps!!

Also the 1.4 is a torquey little engine but if you are reving it thro the gears past 3000 rpm then mpg suffers a lot

To workout MPG: Miles driven / (no. litres used x 0.22)

Reset the ECU? Worked on my golf. was running rich and rough as f**k now its running ok...ish... but still better then it was.

Just take the battery off for half hour. Put it back on and voila!

Your revs are sitting fine. If it were fast it would be sitting at 1000rpm. If your dads is lower then yours then he may want to clean out the throttle bodie or something lol.

Hehe I'm pretty sure its not the way I drive. I'm gonna get it re-tuned at Middlesex Tuning. They should be able 2 sort it out.

OKie guys, its that time of year and its time for me to get my exhaust system sorted. I'm gonna get my whole system done at Top Gear in St Albans for Â£250! That's a great price considering that it includes fitting and also they are pros, as they did Richard's Mk3 GOlf which was PVW's cover car a few months back.

Also, I might have enough cash left over to get some new rims which I badly need. These two rims fall under my price range and I wanted you guys to help me decide! CHEERS!

the second ones are quite sexy. The first ones make me want to acident in my underwears. Nooooooooooo lol.

Just dont think theyd suit a polo at all. The second ones however could look good on any car, and should suit a polo nicely

Not fan of either one to be honoust, but if I were forced to chose, I'd go for the first, kinda looks like the Golf mk5 GTI's

Yeah you're right, those rims aren't jaw droppingly special but they are the only ones I can afford at the Â£250 price range. I might go for the black because they would suit the stealthy kidna look I'm going for with my car.
