On sunday the 28th of october theres a polo meet in cheddar gorge, if anyones interested you're more than welcome to join

It's just east of Weston Super Mare. As you look at the map, the reservoir is on the opposit side of Cheddar village to the gorge, the gorge itself is called Cliff Road. I think the idea is to meet on Cliff Road at the first big carpark on your way out of the village. I'm not entirely sure myself what constitutes a big carpark but i think the one full of polo's could be fairly handy clue tbh

Hi all, we're doing this one again on the 23rd december. Last time it turned into a vw meet with lots of the old aircooled, some of the newer transporters. It was wuite good and full last time so should be pretty good this time too. meeting at 12:30pm this time though...

hahaha!! well with the lack of money there may not even be a present, so it may be a case of turning up shouting through a mega-phone and leaving!

haha. Think of your most prized possesion ( no the polo ) wrap it up and give it to him saying 'you mean this much to me' Or get whatever fits in an a4 envolope and post that instead 25P for the pstage a 12p for the envolope = 37p birthday present

I have already updated this on the sticky post but if you don't look at that one and only look at this one there no point is there?!

After what i'd call a thorough discussion as to whether we should change the meet venue for the bad weather part of the year, Taunton has been mentioned as the most central location for people of the south-west, replacing the Cheddar meet untill the weather is all fine & dandy again!

The location in Taunton will be the covered car park that is the small Sainsbury's car park. The post code of Blockbuster (linked to Sainsbury's) is TA1 3TZ, relevant to people with sat nav or searching for directions.

The meet will take place on the last sunday of each month in the evening, i'm thinking 5.30. Would be later but I took into consideration people travelling long distances for the meet and people having work the next morning.

Anyone with any VAG car can turn up. Being lit up & undercover, there should be plenty of opportunity for some good photos! I myself have no photography skills whatsoever or a good camera for that matter, so if anyone has either of these, then you should bring them.

If people could post on other forums then that would be ace, spread the word!

Looking at some other meet threads, I like the idea of doing a list for each meet as to who we expect to turn up.
