would mk 4 golf recaro's fir into a polo?....

hi all,

im new and im thinking of having abit play with a 6n polo over the winter for next years shows...

does anyone know if the MK 4 golf GTi recaro's would fit into a 6n polo?.

im thinking yes for the front but really unsure on the rears?... :?

anyone wanna shed some light?..

Neither will be a straight fit, but I've seen it done, somewhere. It's possible to fit any seat, if you're willing to get welding done.

if your current seat has airbags, is this a real pain in the backside to get right for the new seats if they also have airbags? (I know the mkivs don't. but the 9N does and those mk4 gold ones do too)

I don't want to lose safety, but have always wondered about this.....

Rather good guide there dug out from my chest of many PMs :P

Its a rather easy mod, just requires some grinding!

so the fronts just require that bit of grinding? the runners line up perfectly etc?

any info on the rears? i see that gti at the top has the blue rear bench fitted, anyone know if it goes straight in?

Rears are just a minor clip adjustment on the bottom of the seats. As far as I know, its as simple as that :)
