My work van system

Post by dub envy »

Bought an amp today. Second hand off a mate. I didnt think that £30 was too bad a price for a 4x80watt amp!!!

Completes my install for the Kangoo!

What I have:
JVC KD-S611 CD head unit
Caliber CA 80.4 4 channel amp
Rocky Fosgate Punch XLC 12in sub
2 JVC 6x9's
Alpine RCA splitter.

the plan is to build a box housing the 12, 6x9's, and head unit, with the amp on the top.

Have an angled box with the sub behind the passenger, and then facing between the seats have the 6x9's on top of each other, and the head unit above them.

The box will have separate compartments for the sub/6x9's/deck.

With the box like this, when my company renew my lease van, all I have to do is diconnect the battery live and the ground and lift the box out and into the new van!!

Hopefully gonna get down to B&Q tomorrow to buy a lrge sheet of 18mm MDF and build the box in the afternoon!

Will have a better system in the van than tI do in the polo at the end of this lil project!!!

yup! Golf GTI, Polo GT, and a Kangoo!

just got the MDF, and am now going to go get 2 short RCA cables, a fuse block and some ground cable.

Found everything else I need out the back of my house!

Mate, that's going to rock!

There's a guy with a sprinter van in sheffield with a similar setup... Big sub box with amps etc behind the seats... Sounds ace!
