Its red tape from halfords in the styling etc section. Its very easy to apply - most people use a hairdryer and a steady hand to get it right :)

Alternatively you can spray it, but thats a little difficult as you can ruin a grille quite easily doing that

i used red tape, you can get from halford, its like a stripe, dont use insulation tape it doesnt last very long in my opinion, and this red stands out more

yeh the halfords stuff is called redline tape, the best method imo. costs bout £3. pics on my sig! 8)

ok thanks guys il give it a try, is it just available in one width? the pin stripe stuff i used for my mk 2 golf from halfords was in 3 thicknesses i think, is it that stuff or something different? does it go round the curve without creasing? or is that where the hairdryer comes in? thanks. :D

Looks good on the black ones. Silver not too sure and red it just blends in really

yeh i think it looks really good on the black cars, a bit like my old mk2 golf (or the new ones i suppose!) gonna give it a go on my silver car and see if it grows on me. i will get some photos up as soon as i can take some good ones in the daylight (stuck on night shifts for another fortnight!! :x )

I remember when I first did that 3.5 years ago, the tape cost 49p from Motorworld.

looks loads better but is awkward to mask off properly so be carefull.
