after my polo has been stood for more than 5 hour it starts runs for few hundred yards and cuts out it is like the carb is empty when i try to start her again she takes some time like when u have run out of gas and it has got to pull through again when she starts i can rev the hell out of her when in park but go to drive and their is no revs for a few minuits then every thing is ok till i leav her stood again can eany one give advice or help thanks verry much barry

fuel filter, sparks, temp sender or dizzy perhaps

Get it all checked

the carb won't be empty - there isn't one on there
