how do i clean the little breather filter that came with my BMC?

With the BMC cleaner or an air filter element cleaner solution. Dont use petrol as it could cause a fire :P

Carb cleaner also works well!

kamracing sells it otherwise halfrauds sell one suitable. The BMC kit comes with a red breather oil though to restore the functionality of the filter.

mines second hand :lol:

ah, i've got carb cleanerfrom halfords, the stuff for the TB. that ok then? Whats the best way of cleaning them both? (breather and BMC that is)

noo :P The BMC is an oil based filter - TB cleaner will totally ruin it!!

this is what you ll need - its expensive, but lasts 4-5 times to do it :)

Mine was second hand too - cleaning made it come up like new!
