Help needed- How to red trim GTI grill?

Know its probably simple but I dont have a clue. Really want to get a good finish so gather it'll be paint.......help :?

imo best way of doing it (and the way i did it) was to use red tape, you can get it from halfords, bout 3 quid.

theres loads of info on it use the search function,

you can use paint but its a bit messy, the red tape is spot on

thanks, I'll be getting down to halfords tomorrow...no joy on the search though :oops: what type of tape is it (aside from being red and sticky :lol: )

i think its called redline? don't quote me though,

it'll prob be around all the sunvisor decals and all that

Thanks. In the end I found some red electrical tape in the back of the garage that did the trick (for the moment anyway). I'll check out halfrauds though for this stuff as I'm sure it'd be better in the long run :lol:

yeh i wouldn't recommened electrical tape, it's got kind of a matt effect finish where as the redline tape has like a gloss effect and look alot better 8)
