Removal of standard GTI double din stereo

Anybody got any tips on removing the stereo from the GTI?

VW wanted to charge me to just pop the stereo out, i didnt want it removed or anything. Thats just crazy.

I take it you put something in each of the four holes and pull, anybody got any tips?

I got the keys, they're those pointed end navi like removal keys (not like the Lupo stereo flat ones).

If you want to borrow them I can post them out or just get them from me at Bluewater or nearby?
