Hi,
i got my car back from having the gearbox fitted yesterday and they'd had the battery off while changing the box but ever since getting it back the passenger window has been acting very odd, i picked the car up, got down the road and it went down by itself and wouldn't stop even if i forced it up with my switch it kept winding itself down until i used the passenger switch,
anyway i thought no more about it but tried to use the passenger window today on the drivers side switch and its dead, the window works off the passenger switch fine though...........
any idea what to check, the window motor or something in the door clicks when i try using the driver side switch.
cheers,
ash.

just had a problem with my drivers window, i was advised to press the button and let the window go all the way up but hold the button there for a few more seconds, it will cause some sort of reset.
It worked for me, but mine was a different problem so have no idea whether it'll work for yours. Maybe worth trying this on your passenger side switch?

pull wire gromet/sleave back in door jam and check for broken wires and jentley tug them with both hands at a piller and door to see if there broken also
if ok then try
pull out passenger switch and work out which wires do what and bridge them using scrap wire think theres 5 wires 2 will be power (1 for ilumnation and 1 for window operation feed) and other 2 will be window up window down and brown for earth.
if this works it be your switch.
if you get stuck pm me
