my new polo............

Post by freshblood »

hi everyone,as you have most probably guest im a newbie, just got rid of my old polo 1.0 :( .... and replaced it with a 1.4 8v :)
i know what i wanna do with it i.e lowering, alloys, de-badge etc.

but i have a small problem and i know you guys are the best guys for the solution! my problem it that im not sure whether to lower her first (60mm all round) or to get some alloys. i say this because i have noticed the winter look going around and alot of people tend to put on sum cheaper alloys... so any suggestions to getting under way..

.. oh yer and i have my de-badged grille in the post and am gonna be taking off the bump strips and back text next weekend for those who are interested.

Them badges are available from Halfrauds, Motorworld etc but most people say they're very tacky when you attach them to a VW cos the badge stands for DUB cars with big rims lol

ON TOPIC though i'd say get the car lowered. It'll even look good on standard rims whereas getting alloys first would make your car look silly!
