Refurbish front brake calipers

Post by 1 GTI »

How hard is it to take off and strip down the front calipers on the GTI? I think my passenger one is starting to stick on a bit.
Cheers

Is £98 for a painted reconditioned caliper a good price? And a 24 months or 24,000 miles warranty which ever comes first.

Have you actually checked and confirmed that the caliper is sticking?

No I haven't confirmed it yet but im 95% sure because the wheel has more brake dust than the drivers wheel and also the disc has worn slightly more on the passenger side. On the actual piston ring and seal?
