wheel size
wheel size
i'm wanting to put some aftermarket alloys on my polo to replace the standard 13in 5 spokers it came with, i'm keeping the standard height suspension though as i'm surrounded by speed bumps but what i want to know is what size wheels fit, obviously the bigger the better but without fouling the arches any info will be welcomed cheers simes

ello mate, im kinda new myself, but in my opinion and i would pobs be speaking for alot of people on this forum that bigger is'nt always better when it comes to wheels. if you go massive you will look like you are on stilts which isnt a good look at all. 17" is the most i have seen on a mk4 polo on this site but u wanna watch out for the width.
u'll probs be looking at a max of 7J width with 17". another thing too look at is the offset, i have been told that you wanna look between 35et-38et for a mk4.
you could lower it 40mm all around and be fine on the bumps cus lods of the guys, and me soon, are running on 60mm all round and they say they get over speed bumps fine.
im pretty sure thats all about right and some1 will correct me before you know i if im rong but i hope that helps.... ;
