any one got any ideas on a set of wheels for my gti, (silver by the way), got a set in mind just finkin any one got any other ideas?

15s or possibly 16's

Depends what style your looking for,

IMO 16" RXs look great for OEM+ look,

RM's look amazing with a low and wide stance, pricey though, alternatively I've always liked the look of Ronal LSs which are slightly similar and alot cheaper?

ATS cups, Ronal Turbos are also popular

I've got alot of pictures of different alloys of mark 5s, let me know if you have any in mind and i'll see if i can source a pic

Depends on how much it's lowered by and what type of suspension it is,

Slammed on 15" 8s, you'll probably be looking at getting your arches rolled, also depends on the offset though.

Trial and error really, or you could always contact someone who has the wheels and stance you like, and ask them what problems (if any) they have

Best bet would be to speak to Tom (tomo87) or Phil (dee-vub), both i think ran 7.5/8s at one point
