Wobbly Steering Wheel

Post by NickP »

Hi all, I've got a problem with the steering wheel on my car (standard wheels fitted, no mods done). I'm not sure if it's related but the girlfriend curbed it pretty badly a few months ago. I started noticing it the last 6 weeks or so and it is getting progressively worse. When cruising along at low speed it is worst and it gets better as you speed up. I was thinking the wheels might just need aligning but I'm not sure now as it's getting pretty bad. Can anyone offer advice? Cheers!

i'd get the wheels and tracked and aligned properly first and then see how it is after that. if that doesn't do anything, she may have bent something steering related possibly?

Could also be a buckled wheel. But balancing/tracking is more likely.

Cheers guys, will get that done first to see if this sorts it. Hopefully that'll be all it is.
