PROBLEMS :(

as u probably know this morning everything was iced over and i started my car and it started fine. however when leaving school my car wouldnt start, (right this part is really hard to explain but here we go)

when you put the key in the slot it moves up in quarters. like first quarter so your fans work, 2nd, 3rd for your ignition, and the final twist is to start the engine (hope you undersatnd that!!)

My car wouldnt go into the 4th quarter to actaully start the engine and this was about 3 o'clock so nothing to do with the cold weather, and this also happened when i was leaving work at 8pm. Anyone know why this is happening???

Also my engine is making a really loud ticking over noise when stationary.

If your steering is locked she wont click over into the 4th postion. Just jingle the steering wheel about and that should sort it.

no it definetley wasnt the steering lock, i made sure that was off, and still took like 4 attempts.
hasnt done it today though
