advice on a polo gti
hi all. i sold my polo 1.4se yesterday because i had just had enough on how slow it was so know i think im ready for a gti. i just need some advice on one i was thinking of buying. its silver full vw service but what came to my attention was that its done 50,000 miles the persone is selling it at a very decent price but just thout ill ask you all if i should buy it or not.

Mileage shouldn't be a problem...50K probably nothing to a VW engine...just make sure the bodywork and all working parts are in working order.
As Josh mention before, check the gearbox, usually problems arise with the ones on GTIs.
Mine was probably the best purchase so far in my life, given me lots of fun and obviously get to meet a lot of get chaps on this forum!

So long as you can get it insured, I don't think you'll have much problem driving it... Just don't drive too fast!
1st thing to do once you've bought it is get it lowered. 35mm H&R Springs work really well on them and they are reasonably priced.
Also, try to only run it on Optimax.
