Very Nice! Looks much better behind the Monza's IMO! Not a fan of 17" alloys on a little car! Keep the Monza's on!!!

Looking great Jeff. Any chance of posting pics up of your Milltek from the back and side.

I fitted mine on Saturday myself just by jacking the car up so didnt have a lot of room to work with and it looks like it sticks out the rear valance to far and it looks ever so slightly squint. Spent ages trying to straighten it but still looks slightly squint.

Also got a slight knock when it ticks over when warm, think its slightly touching the rear axle, will have another look at it this weekend.

dont know where your looking kenny, the disks have grooves and holes on them, or do you mean after the disk, if so thats the floor what you can see through the wheel (gravel goloured grey?), or further along still is my colour coded side skirts

is it any of these your seeing

and joe, what one did you get, resonated/non resonated?? cat back/turbo back ??? as it could all make a difference, mine is a turbo back resonated miltek, with the downpipe, cat, centre section and rear silencer, i get no knocking at all but mine is modified

miltek pics are below, i have however had my end pipes modified to sit more in and the left pipe in slightly further than the right one so it curves round with the bumper too, as the bumper does and as the std vw exhaust does

heres a few pics

had the exhaust fitted at awesome and they cut a small piece out from the centre section and stainless steel welded it back up as they said it was too long and would of knocked, they got in touck with miltek and they said they would still cover it with their lifetime guarentee as awesome and pipewerx have done the work and its not been bodged, but tailored to fit perfectly

then i went to pipewerx to have the tailpipes modified to my preferences, only cost me £40

hope this helps you both

Jeff - How much for all this turbo back res, with downpipe, cat, centre section, rear silencer and fitting cost?

Having this milltek exhaust causes knocking issues? Would this happen with the Cup bumper?

fitted and modified mine was 700 quid and yes it needs modifying or as joe says it bangs on the rear axel, so would still hit the axel regardless of what bumper you use

Yours looks alot neater than my one Jeff. I am not too happy with the fit of mine, time for the angle grinder to come out me thinks  .

Its a cat back non resonated by the way. Its no noisier than the standard system which I was suprised with.

Am not too sure what am lookin to do so any suggestions would be welcome!

Think a mite order the Gloss B pillars from vagparts next week.

how do you fit these pillars...do they just stick on over what is already fitted or do you have to remove them/swap them?
i'm really interested in ordering them, plus i have a 5 door model and the doors have three pieces of the horrible black plastic i want to get rid of...so does the kit change each piece?

good stuff joe you get to attacking it, but remember any welding will need to be s/s welding not just normal stuff

and the gloss pillars are a quality product, the originals unscrew off and then these screw on in their place, they are proper parts and not just cheap tat, adds class to the side of the car

They never fit properly. I'll fit pics of mine up soon, Milltek fixed mine but I had to drive a long way . Worth the effort, and I'm not complaining as such. If I'd known of these issues I would have gone to Milltek's factory for fitting in the first place.

Do you know what they did to fix it flyfs6.

Going to the Milltek factory is not an option for me so will need to try and find someone in Scotland that can sort it.
