lol cheers bstardchild might need to do tht if i want to lower it right....maybe a bit of stretch on the tyres...maybe go for 185/45 or 175/45 or 50.... wat size of wheels and tyres u runnin bstardchild?

Hi sorry to butt in - you said you got 3 dot led side repeaters. I cant figure how to fit them.

Could I als chance my luck d ask if you happen to know paint code for your car mine is that colour and I dont know where to look for it.

hey eileenk yea mine have two wires on them with blue things attached, is it like yours?
i tested them, all you do is take the blue things off, then take out your original repeaters and pull of any attachments...touch the wires to the opposites...,turn on indicator, if it doesnt work swap wires around, should work then

mine did...
oh and the paint code, dont kno for certain but will look for you

just to be certain, will get it up as soon as...

Cheers for help with leds. I thought I might have to cut wires and attach just wanted confirmation before I started. The blue bit had me confused.
Were yours just a few mm thick and attach to car with double sided tape or were they same fit as originals? Bit wary of them They say for Golf MkIII Vento, Polo MkIV, etc but I am still dubious.

yea lol mines got double sided tape on them, with the code 00SM2@"then big circle with 'E11' in it"0081 on the led side lol

aye will have to cut and rewire them, lol and the blue things confused me aswell at first lol

I am in Edinburgh so not far away.
So I take it they are stuck on okay? was a bit dubious. Got my clear indicators on, just need to get rid of the orange sides, will have a go at weekend. Of course everything has to be done twice, cos my daughters got an open air and anything I get she gets too.
Fed up paying garages to do things for me. Since I found forum have done 2 sets of tail lights and indicators by myself. saved at least Â£100. Thanks guys.
Will post some pics of the cars soon.

wat size of engines u and ur daughter got? coulour? just curious lol
sorry for all the questions,
and i know wat u mean these forums have helped me alot, replace tail lights with mk5's remove side strips and colour code handles.... lol
also now checking for right suspension and a possible engine upgrade

maybe a wee cheeky 1.4 16valver or a 1.6 lol

Hi again still not got the side repeaters done so no pics yet.
We both got 1.4cl's. Fiona has got the posh one, the S reg Open Air in blue/black absolutely stunning, hers is automatic and much faster than mine. but her central locking dont work ha ha.
Mine is the poor relation in a sort of Burgundy Pink Metallic its a P reg but only done 54k miles. The paintwork is losing its lacquer quicker than my cat can shed her hair round the house. I was trying to stop it peeling but now I think I would be quicker helping the rest off. but my central locking works.
