how much roughly does it cost to get them lowered and how low du rekon is the best without the car looking overly stupid that you cant even get over speed bumps properly.

60mm for conveniance

80mm for a mean stance

70mm best of both?

Thats a rough idea, but it does depend on what alloys your ride, how stiff your suspension is etc..

You can get a decent set from Jackson Tuning for £215 delivered (I think), Course there are other more expensive and better sets out there, just depends on how much you want to spend,

Check out this thread from clubpolo for some prices

It'll cost your aobut £80 to get coilovers fitted, and around £40 for tracking and camber which will need doing

Believe me Tim, 70mm is not very practical!!

I'd say stick with 50 or 60mm for every day driving, I sanded a bit off my splitter on the way home pulling out of a petrol station

Welcome to the site by the way mate 8)

i reckon 40mm back and 60mm front looks good. altho when u do it im gonna see how low i can go to get it look like its already pi$$ed of and not hetting every stone laying on the road........ if that makes any sense.

i currently have 30mm drop all round and the front is still way to high but the back is not that bad.... still gonna lower them both even more tho and get some new deep dish alloys when i get the money. hopefully when that guy thats sells them on here in the for sale section is back with some great bargains....
