Any tips on doing an oil change. How do you remove the engine tray which sits under the engine?
Cheers
Oil Change
Its a piece of p*** m8...
you will need to jack the car up quite high or drive it onto ramps
There are two bolts at the back of the tray (10mm socket)
And then two star cleets at the top of the tray in the wheel arches...they are fiddly buggers, use a long lat bladed screwdriver to turn them and unscrew them...be carefull not to damage it...
Once they are off, lower the tray down and pull it towards the back of the car
Getting it back on is a bit tricky, but not hard..
Make sure you clip the air pipe for the gearbox cooler back into place, its on the passenger side at the frtont...u cant miss it
