Post by OzzyLU3 »

pics available on here
http://s243.photobucket.com/albums/ff11 ... /?start=40
think i posted it before on how it happened..

i've given up hope
though i found a dashboard for 140quid there isn't a cat in hell's chance of it being repaired.. it was cat c when i got it for 2grand [what a mugging]

can someone advise me on how i can sell it for maximum change please?
Engine is totally fine,
doors
back bumper, seats etc

basically what u see on the pic is mashed up properly. other than that most parts are fine, including body parts.

it's time to send this w**k to the graveyard..

i need the money to contribute towards a new car that i want [citroen c2 or suziki swift?].

how much can i get for scraps/breaking guys...?

Well to start off that's a mk5, but the advice is the same. Break it for parts and sell on the forums or ebay. Then scrap the shell, steel prices are good at the minute so you should get some money for the shell itself.

If i'm right in thinking, you have a Mark5 there. You might get a bit more money if you break, parts such as engine, seats etc sell well.

Yeh post it up in the mark5 section to gauge interest then set something up in the for sale section.

You'll get a fair few bob for all the usuable parts

Hmm.. i'm gona do a DIM job.. break the car myself that is lol.

Can u tell me the
tools i'd need to take the parts off and
a guide on how to do it if you would...

Cheerio and thanks again lads :)

how much should i be asking for a mk5 dashboard with steering wheel? airbags obviously still inside and have not been deployed on both of them... In fact i've still got them in the wrapping in which they were sent lol.

hmm i think i'm gona copy and paste this onto the mk 5 bit.
