MOT Passed

Post by Mouse_GTI »

My car passed today so happy about that. My noisy exhaust was down to a bracked that needed welding. Only thing needing doing for the MOT was a numberplate bulb.

My new LUK clutch is absolutely amazing, light as a feather.

Only problem is the garage dented my sill, though they admitted it and will repair it free of charge/give me a courtesy car.

As I drove off, it took me a few minutes to realise my speedo/odometer had stopped working so had to drive back. My fuel guage also dropped down then went back up. The guy plugged in the sensor again and it was fine. Only annoying thing is my real mileage is 2.8 miles out, although I made note of the mileage when it went in, and when I got in the car picking it up it was one less :?

Nice, and it's good to hear there's good honest garages out there still!

How much did your LUK clutch cost Mouse?
