Ok rich now i'm confused! Mine's a 95 and the box says 95 onwards, it fits mine, but the tailgate changed from 98 onwards?

UPDATE - I have contacted the dealership and they have confirmed this will fit all 6N tailgates from the year 95 onwards. The spoiler itself has a groove in which looks as though will accommodate the lip on the later tailgate.
Hope this helps!!!

Oh right ok. I'm in talks with another member about getting a 16V rear bumper reprayed so i'm debating whether to pick one of these up while i'm at it

I would
Body shop bills are always expensive, so it helps to get as much done in one go as i've found in the past and i'm sure other members will agree.

From reading the first, I take it that the are stuck on. Is there any additional wiring required for the LED kit?

Yes they are stuck on with an included adhesive. The LED one requires you to drill an 8mm hole into the tailgate with some very simple wiring into the rear light
