It may as well be the new Golf to be honest. I'm just really disappointed with it; it seems VW have missed an opportunity to make something decent with the name; this production model looks like a Volvo C30 or a squashed Grande Punto.

i can see where Ollie is coming from, they had the chance to make this a very cool coupe in the traditions of the scirocco and the corrado.
i like it as a car though, very much!

i do like that! but agree it doesn't seem like much of a coupe and doesn't quite follow the lines of the original rocco! maybe they should have called it something else!

The 2.0 TFSI from the Golf GTI, later on the new 1.4 TSI and probably a 2.0 TDI.

It looks a tiny bit better in Red:

It still looks quite lardy though. And it's a shame they had to use the interior from the Eos. Whatever happened to
farvegnugen , VW?
Another note; have a look at the back of a 90's-era Mitsubishi Colt. Notice the resemblance to the new IROC?

If only they were doing a 3.2 V6 version then I might have considered one of those
