Vibrating Car :S

hey guys

Do any of you have problems with vibrating from under the car at high speeds (70mph)?

It seems to be coming from under the handbrake and all i can see that makes a noise is the heat shield for the exaust. I have fastened it tighter and i have also put fireproof sealant round the edges.

Despite all this i still get a vibrating/rattling noise.

Please let me know if anyone can help.

Check the mount that holds the air intake in place (in the engine bay). It's like a jubilee clip that's secured with a nut + bolt into the chassis of the car.

I know it's not from under the car, but I had a similar rattle that looked as if it was coming from under the car, but it turned out to be the air intake.
