Buying a MK6, Problems and Pricing?.

Post by PLuKE. »

Well i have changed my mind :o . I was going to get a MK5 1.4 SE, But i think am going to go with the MK6 now 1.4 SE. I have seen a very clean in and out one, FSH, 1 owner, 76k on the clock with cambelt and and tensioners changed.

Its up for £3100. Good price? its on a 2002 51 plate.

What are the common problems to look for on them.

Thanks

Luke

Seems fairly good to me mate. I payed £5500 for my 1.2e 54 plate in 2005 with 4k on the clock.

Seems fair. What are problems i should be looking for?. Do they suffer from the same gearbox and clutch box problems as the MK5's?.

Thanks
