Steering wheel airbag right?

There are two types apparently..

the 1st one i think on the sports + leather wheels only have a fat black clip either side that needs to be pushed to the side.

The second one is simply a case of pushing a metal wire (about 3 times the thickness of a paper clip) left or right until it just pops off!

Hopefully that helps (this is from past experience, not pro advice lol)

Jeff - dont pay someone to do it!! It'll take you 5 mins and you are more than able to do it yourself. I tried to explain how to do this on a previous thread -

Stick a small mirror around the back of the steering wheel Jeff. You will then see how far each of the two metal clips need sliding. It's not very much, and then the airbag will just wiggle free. Take it nice and slow and make sure there's no static build up on you or in the car!

and mateyguv, thatks for offering me your number, iv stored it in my phone for in case i need a hand in the future haha, thanks for that, ill text over my number too

the idea with the mirror is what did it, would never have thought of that, and it works, as im not so goos as seeing behind corners ;)
