Knocking noises???

Hi,

Recently bought a 2003 9n, very good nick and all works fine as would expect. the only problem the car has is a knocking noise coming from what sounds like either the suspension or the steering? not sure as i only hear it when driving.

Ive seen that apparantly this is a common problem listed on the post on here, but does anyone actually know what this is and whether it can be sorted out?

Does it have standard suspension mate?

yep standard suspension,

I should be changing this this weekend to uprated shocks and springs. will it go then?

It may do, probably best to wait til then see if it goes away first
