My polo Update Thread - **New BBS Wheels**

Well cant be bothered finding the old thread I posted a year or two ago so I thought id make a fresh post.Going to make it into a little progress thread too as I have a few more bits going on her.

.........Anyway enough of the small talk :)

Heres the car when first bought:

A 1.4 16v s

I then added the following mods:

Alpine Headunit
10" Vibe Sub
GTI Front Splitter
GTI Grill
BMC Induction Kit
3 Rear windows lightly smoked with a small tinted sunstrip
BBS ra Alloys

Then I got the BBS wheels refurbed and resprayed in shadow chrome, got german number plates and surrounds and added a 60mm spring and shock kit. Heres some pictures:

After that I bought lower profile tyres and got the lower gti grill set and fog lights installed as well as some LED lights for the rear. I havent got any new pics of these mods but only one from the show in larne which is shown below:

Have more mods planned for this year, some of which are waiting to go on. All being well she will be at a decent stage by the 20th of april :)

Cheers m8, someone over here was basically copied me tho so goin to change them. Same model, colour of car and same colour and make of wheels. :x

Plans are BBS RxII's, A bit of bodywork, New Coilovers (which are waiting to go on) and another few bits and pieces.

nice, thats a shame the wheels are really nice! I'd keep them for winter wheels at least 8)

what width are they and what tyres are you riding?

Ye goin to keep them as winter wheels. 7" wide on 195/45/15 toyo's

Not really. Never thought they could be got :P Are they much more expensive?

Well decided to get my finger out if I wanted to get this car near finished. First job was to get the brake calipers resprayed as they were looking pretty poor to say the least. Heres a picture before and after:

Once that was done I went to see about bodywork. Got it booked in for a few weeks time now for stage 1 of 2 in the process. Also ordered up a few little bits and bobs including these little beauties which are going on next week :smoke: :smoke: :smoke:

Well Coilies are in as of tonight. Shes roughly 80+ front and back. Much stiffer ride and doesnt scrub so far (the night is young). New tyres and camber sorted on Friday. Then the weekend after shes getting some body work done :tumble:
