You'd have to get a metal plate and weld it to the bonnet, then smooth it over and paint, quite a specialist job, one I'd never think about doing DIY.

But personally I think it'll look awful.

In regards to your system, I'd strongly recommend considering different speakers, you'll get way too much mid and bass range with 6X9s and a sub, get 6.5" components for the front of your car, it'll balance out the treble and mid,

you could get a different grill for the front that will look extended eg:

like the 2nd pick down with the eyelids

Covering the entire grille will bugger up the airflow to the radiator.

Please don't buy bonnet extensions or eyebrows their hidious!

Extended the bonnet all the way also looks hidious and will bugger all the airflow enterign the car making it overheat. if your gonna do it, only make it go down 25% covering the grille at the most. It will look decent then.

dont worry acemo, i have been thinking about this to. u can get a metal bad boy extension that u weld on from venom i think but theres no pic so not sure how deep it is, failing that u can actually buy a grill spoiler which u can get on ebay for £23 and its basically a bit of plastic that goes along the grill and over the top of the lights with a slight angle..... dont do wat some cars do and get the extension going from one coner to the other cause i think thats to stupid. this is the thing im talking about

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :IT&ih=022

it doesnt weld on so its cheaper to do. itsticks on over the lights i think. i was thinking about getting this or seeing about a body shop making me one as i got angel eyes now and hopefully put them on tomorrow and i think it looks good with angel eyes and bad boy extension. just not to deep.

Not a fan of the eyebrow kind of thing, just my opinion though!

Yep! It will happen, my mate had that problem on his Proton GTi, the previous owner had a custom bumper made with no grill, he had to have a cold air feed running to the engine til he could afford to get the bumper cut!

As other guys have mentioned, lack of cool air into the engine from limited grill space will cause the engine to overheat. Personally I don't think bad boy bonnets look too great either, sports too much of the "Boy racer" image which I'm not a fan of.

ive got a BMC with a cold air feed that goes staight into the front of the bumper anyway, so it will never ever over heat, but it dosnt like puddles lol

Im guessing LSD = Lambo Style Doors?

Im 50/50 on that simply because its not a dub look, but i have seen it on a polo and it did looks phat, and because ive always wanted to play 50cent - how we do, driving along with my doors up 8)

cheers tim, but i went into lancaster car audio and said that ive heard that you dont need 6x9s in your boot, and all i wanted was an 'equal' sound, and he suggested the type X 6x9s, because u can turn the bass off, and still have the best high / trebbely stuff lol

its all sorted, just need to start saving some pennys haha
