1.4 8v engine mods!!

i have a 2000 y reg mk5 1.4 8v and have a custum powerflow exaust 6x4 oval very happy with but im after some grunt up in the engine department? i cant find any air filters or induction kits etc. the air box is under the engine cover.
any help would be great thanks!!

i can help you
though my car is only a 1.0, but should apply to a 1.4 aswell
i got my induction kit from www.motorspeed.com
although it states its for a mk4 6n polo, it'll actually fit a mk5 6n2

anyway heres sum pics from my "ugly" setup, makes the car roar though!

thanks mate, i will defnately sort that out! i think you car pritty mental. does it give a mean roar? is it very noticeable now when i rev it i get a bit of a poofy noise from the engine if you no what i mean. did you tell your insurance? i duno if i should. cheers,

yea it roars when i put my foot flat to the floor and when u lay off the excellaration then floor it, it makes a dump valve kinda noise (pssssh)
which sounds wicked
nah i didnt tell my insurance because its not really a performance mod
and didnt really improve my top-end speed, just my accelaration slightly

the aerial is standard!
