i was wondering what the diameter of the air filter intake is where i have put my K&n cone filter (see pic)
cut along story short i need a new one and can't afford a k&n again so im after a cheaper alternative but just need the diameter as i cant get it off and check because i have no tools where i live!
Sorry to be a bother but is the inlet the same size for both 6n and 6n2 models of the mk4? im assuming it is because vw wouldn't change something like that for a facelift?
I'm guessing it is but only cos the K&N you have in the picture looks exactly the same size as the on I had on the 6n. 16'v have a larger one though from the normal ones. I have a universal filter you can use with any car cos it comes with the difference pipe intakes whichs for sale if your interested. Yours for £25 delivered and I only used it a week whilst getting the new K&N filter.
Have been trying to get a cone filter for my polo for a while now, and what you have do looks pimp. also where did ya buy you kamhi Grill as is have a fk grill and is not the greatest looking.
