Yeah It's possible mate, I think one of the best mods for the mk4 to improve the front is to buy a set of angel headlights, and to place some HIDS H7 in them!

There's a few knocking around on clubpolo that have done this, and no doubt a few on here also!

Looks mint!

Yup, my mateys running HIDs on normal headlights.

Noz, dont install HIDs on your angels if your headlights aren't made of glass. They'll leave a black residue on the inside. I'm gonna get the angel eyes Kapils got.

I'd get the Angels Kapils got but they got no actual rings and mine are old so not bothered waisting extra cash trying to buy new ones and sell the old ones!

You should be able to buy them for standard clusters and they're a doddle to fit Josh

HIDs on the frosted mk4 headlights isnt a very good idea. Its an H4 bulb as it serves both dipped and high beams.

Frosted lenses give a scattered beam pattern, so its best to get a clear replacement (they do exist...and they look awesome), projection lenses, or angel eyes if you want to do it so the beam is half decent.

As above, frosted glass and HID's are a no no in my opinion.

If you don't like angels, another option with projectors are Depo lights. Don't know if they RHD or LHD. The Depo catalogue is here http://www.tigerstyle.co.uk/poloforum/v ... hp?t=35594

Any tips on where to find 'em?

Ebay, and ebay germany are good. Otherwise places like awesome GTI may do them or know of places to get them. Have a scout on google...there should be some on there for sure!

Get yourself any set of aftermarket headlights that come with projectors and then buy a HID kit and fit the ballasts and away you go.
