Angry as FOOBAR

Post by NOZ »

 yesterday some git scratched the corner of my rear bumper leaving a few scratches about 7inchs long whilst monouvering out from parking. Its a local car and saw it today with a scratch exactly the same size at the same level on the front bumper.

So god damn angry cos the paint work was immaculate and only the front bumper needed work and my car would've been clean. Now this happens and i'll have to spray the whole bumper.

I doubt much would come of the t**t paying me for the scratches and just deny it if I left a note. Its obviously not worthy of getting the insurance involved so is there anything I can do before I start keying the foobarin focus up  (which the owner would know I defo done making my car more vulnerable).

Approach the offender about it and if they deny, check for any CCTV. Point out that it's not coincedance there is the same scape on his bumper as his car. If he's not left you a note in the first place, then accuse him.

Shame it's been scratched but good excuse for a bumper respray even if it's good condition.

No CCTV, happened on my street and to make it worse my alarm went off too for 5 secs giving a shock warning. The reason I didnt check it cos the windy weathers playing havoc with it so its goes off 10 times a day. So I never looked out my window to check when it took place :?

I'd only leave a note to get it done privately. I could scare the owners soul out his/her body but don't know who the onwer is yet, waiting to find out KEENLY! My sis thinks its a woman so no doubt it happened!

I'm currently in the market for a black mug outfit. Rear bumper didn't need any paint, the whole car was resprayed just before I purchased it so no excuse for a respray needed. Now I have to respray that as well as the mashed up front bumper (which was also raped due to some ****s parking manouver 2days after purchase).

You might get a bit of money off getting the front and rear bumper done at the same time.

^^ Probably but it technically it still means paying more then nothing cos I wouldn't of had to in the first place! Anyway, i'll leave a note or talk to the numb nut if find them on the street.

Was saving up for the front bumper as it needed plate welding done with the spray.

Burn the enemies car. He only keyed yours. If the police come knocking i dont think theyd believe that you would go to the extremity of keying his car.

Second thoughts just kill him and take his wife.

And his dog.

On a serious note though sorry to hear that. All you can do is badger them for the money! Defo not worthy losing NCB over though. If it would cause that.... i dont know if it would....

Time to start practicing with the paints fella!

Think its a woman! Ain't seen the car since yesterday morning.

 Don't think I can match the colour if I try myself cos it doesn't look factory colour. You've seen that slight bluey tint my cars paintwork has, which certainly ain't standard dragon green.

Ahh that sucks dude, I wouldnt take that, I'd get straight on the case! You've got enough evidence for them to back down if they even denied it, just be firm.

Can't you just say that you saw their car driving off from the incident from your window and if they'd like you can get the police involved. Surely that'll scare them enough into just getting it done privately? If not, start looking for somewhere that does cheap brake fluid. Hate bastards like this, someone dented my boot the other day, dunno how or when just came back seein it like that.

Theres a few things you can do:

1) Brake fluid brilliant for removing paint ... you get the idea 8)

2) Borrow my banged up polo and dent her car up

3) Give a group of chavs a tenner they'll prob do anything you want :D

Sorry to here about it, might be better going off to a body place as I heard some places can match up custom paint work to the exact color, give a ring and say its not a stock color.

As for getting insurance and police involved it'd be pointless and alot more hassle in the long run especially for you, approaching the person face to face might resolve the issue but they could be an ass and deny it ever happened Best thing to say I was in that room of my house and I SAW YOU DO IT! That way they can't get out of it. Hope things go well and you sort it out.

^^ Lemeph you crack me up geez! You'll probably see the damage at Prept tomorrow or Eastern Dubs the next week (hints reminder).

No idea what the owner looks like but i'll give them a fright! Speaking to a mate to fix up the front bumper so hopefully get that sorted too.

Haha, the owner is probably probably s**t themselves already knowing about it. I'm sure they will own up to it without violence, be the bigger man or woman!

Think they'd thoguht I wouldn't notice or remember who parked behind my car that day. Not like they'd have no recollection of it; alarm went off and the scratch looked bad enough to push my car forward whilst they drove out the space.
