I'd say gloss black, subtle but smart. Anything like colour coding looks tacky imo

Yeh you could get a shine out of the black no problem. Purchase something like black magic pearl for it, and yes use laquer. To do it

2-3 coats of Prime, sanding down with 800 and 1200 grit paper in between coats,

then 2-3 coats of desired paint, sanding down with 800-1200 grit WET paper in between coats.

Then apply 2-3 thick coats of laquer (thick as you can without causing it to drip), if a shine doesn't take to it sand down with wet 1200 grit paper and apply another thick coat

i sprayed my centre console gloss black, and it looks ok like kind of shiny black, but i was sort of hoping for a mirror finish black where u can see reflections in it or at least how it looks when the paints wet, but didnt realy manage it

Yeh you achieve that you'll need to get a solid few coats of laquer on it

I f*****g hate fox's! Normally if i see one ill speed up to kill the f****r, but was driving back from charleys and a lil c**t only runs out in front so i swerve to miss it clippering one of those silly placed islands with the big plastic light covers...

Looks at it properly today and ive done another wishbone/lowerarm so thats 3 ive killed now in my life of owning polo's

Popped front wheel
smashed clear indicator
slight dented wing, will prob pull out...

f****d lower part of my 8v bumper

Thing is i didnt even hit the fox either

Unlucky josh! :(

Good opportunity for 16v bumpers though :D Not came across any foxes but my parents used to live in Norfolk where there were plenty of deer to hit. Thing is, if you'd of hit the fox, the damage might have been worse. Get some pics up :)

In fact, i'm collecting a 16v rear bumper tomorrow in dragon green

Finally fixed it! The wishbone didn't need changing but it saves you an extra job in the future, I'm now waiting for my polo back from the repair center.

Currently stuck driving a punto might pop round and check it out.
