Boot Light

My boot light in my 6n doesn't work. I've changed the bulb, stil not working. Are there any common problems with these?

I need to find mine because it's obviously not working lol

Mine must be broken or bulb gone, going to check it out tomorrow. Thanks for bringing it to my attention though lol.

On mine the switch, which is part of the boot locking mechanism, had corroded and fallen apart. I think I just bought the switch from my local VW - I don't think it was expensive. Only pain is getting to the lock means removing the trim.
