Feel like crying!

Post by nikz »

Lorry driver hit my car after a roundabout. Lane was merging into one and he decided he could try and get past to go in front of me. Didn't work and now my car is dented and the rear bumper corner kinda shredded. He was a right tool as well, refused he hit my car and was shouting and swearing without giving details and drove off. Really worried that the dents and scratches on my rear passenger side wing wont ever be fixed. Dunno wether to be angry or just cry myself to sleep :( Worst thing is I'm going to have to go through police etc as he drove off and that'll long things out forever!

Feel for you mate, I got hit recently but it was only a scratch!

Atleast by driving away his kinda put himself in deep number 2's! You can't really deny you hit something when its foobared up and his lorry might have some small evidence along the side hopefully. Liability will swing his way as the tools decided to drive off, which may help you out.

Just hope its not a foreign driver or things may get worse.

Thanks man, I saw your thread too. Really pisses me off though. I've got every single detail available including his company name etc and two witnesses so that should be a huge help. He was definitly from this country, could tell when he got out the Lorry and started shouting swearing and denying everything. Had a legend of a foreign witness though he was practically like "oh mya god, what hasa he done to youra car!" would have been funny if it wasn't that situation!

You need to change the time in your profile :P

Thats nasty buddy. I hope it all gets sorted out. Its the worst feeling in the world when your car gets damaged, especially when the other person denies it

Thanks guys really appreciate it! It just feels as if the car is "dirty" now. I mean i know since getting it i havent done much to it or anything not a "show car". BUT I just feel as if its something everyone will notice and be like "damn his car is messed up" kinda thing. :( Need to fill out some long form and the police will "endevaour" to find out what happened apparently. This is going to be soooo drawn out. But hey, maybe get a 16v rear bumper out of it.

So got my car booked in to go in tomorrow. Until then I'm using a Fiat Punto Grande! Must admit i do like the soft clutch though! Just wondering, do you guys reckon its possible to ask the guys at the garage to just do me a 16v bumper and i pay the difference? Only thing is its a company called Solus which seems very "we only follow the rules and thats it nothing else" kind of company. Any suggestions?
