Todays Project - Faided Red Corsa B Paint Correction

Post by Jeff GTi »

got approached by a customer recently asking me about paint correction on a badly weathered (faded) red corsa,

so today, on my day off, i took to it, and brought it back up to its new lustre

the car is a w plate vauxhall corsa with 59k on the clock, but its paint was letting down its condition and the owner was considering a respray, but i suggested paint correction first

please bear in mind this took me 5 hours by hand, no machine polishing here, all done in stages, by yours truely, as you can see fromt he pics the car was grubby and going past salmon coloured towards white in places, the owner admitted buying it new and never ever washing it :(

what does everyone think, i was really pleased with it and the owner was too, gave me a £50 tip haha, could not believe it :)

So for anyone interested, Jeffrey Bubbles Valeting Service now available, PM me for details or prices

cheers

If you don't mind could you explain what colour correction is and the how you did it and the steps you took if you don't mind?
