LED SIDE LIGHT BULBS

Post by marc_vaf »

Hi,

I am new to this forum. I have a 2007 1.4S and was thinking to infact change all the bulbs, but for the sidelights i have seen LED's and was wondering if anyone knows if they are street legal and if i am better just to get xeon bulbs.

Thanks 8)

Welcome to the site mate.

I'd recommend getting some LED sidelights, they're far better than standard sidelight bulbs.

Get white though, any other colour is illegal. Have a gander here-

Yeh ultraleds is a top site, that's where I got mine from (couldn't remember the site earlier, so settled on HIDs4u lol),

I've got these

http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/501194t10-mi ... -1545.html

But if I had the chance again I'd get these

http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/ultimate-501 ... -1684.html

(pretty sure these are the ones Alkex was referring to, I've only heard good things of them!)

hey thanks for the replies.. I have read that replacing bulbs with LED bulbs might make warning lights appear or made your indicator flash faster, has any of yous experienced this?

Thanks

Makes sense to me!!!

Translation: No, you'll be ok. No warning lamps will show on for side lights, might do if you fit LEDs for indicators tho!!
