Can't see in much detail but spotted them washer LED's a mile off

Its written in the bible of chavs that "washer LED's are mandatory to chaving up a car" but certainly not in the VAG bible! They're just silly cheap tacky mods so removing them would look much more classier in my opinion.

Other then that you could remove the side bumpstrips which are a free-easy mods. Theres no holes behind them so heat them up, remove and finally clean remaining glue off. It certainly needs slamming big time too, which height and what you get is your preferance and how you run your car.

Whats your future plans for it though? also remember its your car so do whatever makes you happy

yea i know the washer jets are, i've been meaning to rewire them to the full beams so they flash when i flash my full beams cos i don't wan them on all the time. I've basically colour coded my car into blue and that, but yeah i'm planning on dropping it by 40mm front and back cos it's riding on 15s at the moment. I'm in two minds about removing the bump strips, either removing them or spraying them with the handles. What you guys reckon?

good plans, id say remove, if u colour code them your making them harder to spot and spending money..when u cld just whip them off for fre! Colour coding them is only really good for bump strips that are like built in to the car. but yeh really like the car think its really nice.. black and blue buckt seats would look awesome! Id get that front splitter colour coded as well.. considered 16 valve bumpers? btw im not speaking / typing like a chav, the batteris on my wirels keybaord ar going so it only bothers to transmit half the lettrs..

I'd get clear indicators for the front and sides, mark5 rearlights. Remove the washer jets, put the OEM mirrors back on, replace the alu wipers for aeros. Remove the bumpstrips and colour code the door handles. De-Badge the 'polo' and get her lower!!!

Just me though :P

^ lol fair nuff in my opniion thats boring! lol but yeah i know the look you're after. I'm hoping for a happy medium. i shall post up some pics when its complete (after 40/40 drop, colour coded handels, removed bumpstrips, rewired waterjets etc) see what you guys reckon. In regards to the colour: mate i've never had to use the colour, except the wing mirros and i got the guy who sold them to me spray them as he had a garage lol. So i can't help you there. But i am gonna get my handles sprayed, so i shall let you know about where i get the colours from (cheers bout the comment lol).

 Just noticed the mirrors, that seriously doesn't suit the cars design one bit. If you actually want your car to look low then you might find a 40mm drop really disapointing. A 40mm drop on 15's only brings a polo back down to earth. In other words it'll look of standard height as other cars around yours. Most of the lads will say the same so think about it before waisting money on a 40mm kit.

yeah i know about the 40mm, i don't want the car low, i just wanted it to look normal height again. I just wanted the 15s to fit the car better without the 'beach buggy' look.
In regards to the mirrors, the standard mirrors are broken hence the replacement. I thought while I was removing the passenger mirror i may as well buy a pair of completely different ones... which i did. i understand why the kind of 'traditional' style people don't like them, i didn't at first but its grown on me. I don't want to put clear repeaters on as thats too common, i prefer the blue. But each to their own.

nah i like the blue mate looks good, plus its original everyone has clear. the mirros are alrite ive nothing against them, Id say drop a bit more than 40 persoanlly, i think for the money you'll have to spend you wont get much gain out of it, but up to you.

^^ thanks mate, i like the drop you're at but for me that's too low. The reason i'm all for 40/40 is that i'm getting the springs second hand for 40quid plus fitting them for free with a mate. So it's quite cheap. I hope it will look ok! but yeah thanks for the support :) i really like yours i must say!
