Stunning car - my new fave 9n3!

Jeff - think that must be you, i can see what you mean about the colour but I'd say that's the light catching the paint at different angles.

From a Sharan, got it off american ebay, reception is worse in areas where the signal isn't at its strongest, but generally you dont notice anything.

Im guessing they are those replica's that are floating around at the moment :(. Im started to go off these wheels now because every tom diick and harry will have them soon as they are affordable.

If you cant afford the real deal, dont get them IMO.

If they are real i retract the above statements.

Aye, they are Replicas

And frankly who cares if they are, 17" LM's are stupidly hard to get hold of and mega expensive new, let alone secondhand.

They are still a top quality wheel, the finish on them is A1, plus i got them at a stupidly cheap price

I'd disagree, replicas are made purely for people who can't afford the real ones. if they look great and are a good quality there's nothing wrong wtih them, aslong as you don't try and pretend they're real.

Agreed, if they look the part and don't look like cheap relicas I don't see the problem.

Not everybody has £2000 to spend on a set of wheels.

Personally I'd get the real thing but I'm like that with anything. As it is I've near on spent the same amount on the GTi as it cost me and might see about getting 19" LM's on the next car.

IMO that is the price of excusivity.

Whats it going to feel like when some 106 pulls up along side you and has the same wheels? IMO they have ruined the excusivity of what BBS stands for.

I also bet that the quality and finish wont last as long as a more expensive alloy.

The original Polo wheels are hardly exclusive and they are genuine. . . .

A 106 could easily roll up alongisde if you had any wheel on......

The quality is every bit as good as many other wheels i've had in the past.

They are decent quality rims, that happen to look like LM's and look spot on with the Cup kit, and i'm happy, End of

I got the Bumpers from Martin at vagparts.com

I sourced the side skirts locally from a VW dealer where i know the parts guy as i got a much better price on them.

Finally got the side skirts fitted after back from nearly 5 weeks offshore.

As expected with genuine parts the fit was absolutely spot on. Also fitted a cheeky Cup Edition rear sticker
