Painting Brake calipers
Can anybody give me some advice on spraying my brake calipers?
Got some time off sixth form and some green paint (matches my car) so I might try it!
Thanks

i just bought a tin of hammerite spray. i sprayed mine red. but i changed my disks and pads, so i did ist at the same time as i tuck them off, and jus stuck paper round the parts i didt want any paint to get too. if you use the spray, jus remember to take it slow and like, use a swift moevement, otherwise it dripps and leaves runns. its best to put a light coat on, an then keep adding slowly.

well. i youst to work for anglian conservatories and windows. dont use toothpaste. not a good idea. and definetly not cost effective really cus youll use lots of tubes.if toothpaste was effective theyd make the glass cleaner out of it
hmm. normall glass cleaner should be fine. what cloth are you using?? you need to use a quality paper towel. not just toilett paper.if you use a cloth youll never get there either. trust me.
tuck me ageees to get the hang of removing all the shmears and stuff. but its all about using a bit of strength lol and bieng rough with it and keep going over it.
autoglym is good. its easy to use. hardly shmears anyway. the price in the cleaner does count. the higher the prce, the better it will be. but at the end of the day its just glass cleaner lol. i get mine looking as good as anyother using 99p stuff from the co-op
