Performance chip for mk4 1.4 8v

Post by LeMeph »

There trying to get a list of people who are interested in these over at clubpolo.co.uk I dont think there would be alot of power to be gained from doing it but hey most of us cant afford 16v or GTI's so its a step to go quicker!

If your interested in getting one i suggest going over there. Actually even if your interested go over there it should be worth looking at. The more interest the guy gets then the more likely we will see a product that is currently unavailable on the market.

This may ahve already been posted up on here. I looked but i didnt see it. If it has i apologise people. Im in america atm and im hungover so please forgive me lol. Heres the link:

You should ideally have your ecu number handy to give the guy in charge so he can pass it onto the company. I hope we can get this going as it would benefit alot of us.

How much more power do you seriously think you're going to get out of a 1.4 8valve, not much, do a engine conversion

its true theres not much to be had but most people cant afford the insurance on an engine conversion. My philosophy is dont tell them but not everyone agrees with my left wing, give a f**k, attitude lol.

So theyre an option that should be explored i think.

And sib sign up to it its a great resource if nothing else. Dont have to pay and its got different pros and cons to this site. Everything that you find lackign here (whatever that might be) youll find there and vice versa. Its a good site, if not a bit... puritanical?
