How many mpg are you getting?

Post by dn852k4 »

When I first got the car I was averaging around 38 mpg. Since then I've replaced the temperature sender and I'm now averaging 44/45 mpg (I do a lot of motorway driving).
I was just wondering how this compares to other peoples figures?

I wasn't getting a reading on my temperature gauge, so I had a look through this forum and one possibility (and the cheapest) was the temperature sender needed replacing, the part cost £10 from gsf.

250 miles (average) from a full tank or 44 litres just say.
