The rain was shocking on the way back on the M1! Mat was only just infront of me and I couldn't hardly see him....dangerous to say the least lol.

Again, had a great time/good banter/good laughs and good bacon cob!

(Yeah that's right Tom, COB!!!)

mum gave me a funny look when i told her i had a sub and amp in the back of the car, she looked relieved when i told her it was no longer in there!
also told her her car is too slow to which she replied "its not that slow" my response..."it is when there are tdi's in front and gti's behind..."

thanks everyone :)
Ahh, OK, I guess that explains why you had a sub and some back seat ON your own back seat when I walked past sometime in the afternoon. Thought it was a bit strange at the time :?

i had a great day :D

as always a good laugh with you lot, good to see some familiar faces again (Tom, Dean, Chris, Chris, Stacey, Si, Fly, James, Bryony, Simon, Ollie) and it was good to meet some new faces (kc, Mat and lady friend, Haris)

pretty poo weather but uk-p goes on what ever the weather, we always have a laugh!

for anyone wandering, my front wheels do scrub, quite a lot actually

leaving the pod was not fun, lots of squeaking and where i had sprayed quik detailer on my windscreen earlier in the day to save time, my screen was very smeary when it rained, couldn't really see where i was going

Bolts removed! Car is sitting slightly lower on one side and is catching the arch slightly!

Dan took me for a spin earlier and the noises are horrid, i made him stop and turn back! But once she is raised slightly on one side, everything should be ok, just plastic to rub away then!

Not going to do what you saw those guys doing with the basball bat then dan?

Was great seeing everybody, despite the dodgy showers it was a good event.

My gearbox is still playing up (VW fixed it two months ago). Enjoyed the 1/4 runs, my first run was a very dodgy and the car got stuck in gear.

KC got a smooth (I think) 14.903 seconds, I too in the end got a 14.908.

I put that down my dodgy box :P

What a great day. Bit of a shame about the rain and having to wait ages for the track to dry out! :(

Nice to meet some new faces aswell as the old ones too!!!

Just want to say thanks to Doug, Si, Tom and who ever else chatted to my lady whilst i had a couple of blasts up the strip! She said she enjoyed it and didn't feel left out!

Was pretty pleased with my 16.08 1/4 mile considering i've only got a green filter and pd160. Am sure i could get into 15's with a few more goes, but i reckon a re-map will be done before then!

Can't wait for the next meet!
