wheel spacers?

i'll ask the bloke at ATS wen it goes in to see wot he thinks. i fancy a S/S exhaust but i cant afford it right now, got to get the susp sorted first. i was hoping someone would say it was restrictin power, im plannin on a full system in the next year. makes u feel better knowin it will make some difference

Got my Dad to rev the car up this afternoon whilst I listened under the rear end. It's almost certainly rattling in the rear silencer, so a new one is needed in a month or two.
They are expensive for genuine VW 16V silencers. I asked at GSF in the past but they only do 8V ones.
I don't want a performance exhaust as I prefer the standard hidden pipe style.
