Part number for dash cubby box?

Hi, would anyone be able to help with the part number for a dash cubby box

I've fitted a Sony HU in my Golf and have been told that a dash cubby from a 2000MY Polo will fit and go under the HU instead. This would also enable me to fit my phone carrier in the right place too! (BTW I know the cup holders will obscure the HU - I don't use them!)

This info comes from someone who's done the mod but couldn't find a P/No on his.....

It's obviously not from a 2000MY Polo as I've been having a scan through and found this image of the box fitted underneath a Gamma in a New Polo... BTW the Golf dash is in black.

Hi mate,

You don't need the Polo one if you have a Golf..

The part number is: 1J0 857 058 A

Thanks Scorpio,

That part no is for the Golf one which fits above the HU, I'm after the Polo part no which fits underneath the HU. I don't want the HU down by the gear lever

I've found this part no 6Q0 857 058A 1QA @ Â£15.88+vat from another thread which can be supplied by VAGparts.

Is that definately the black box for under the stereo?

Maybe best to get one of the other lads to give you the part number. I had the number for the 9N but the 6N shows as deleted??
