I've bought from them before. The harness is probably simple enough, but it looks good to me

I don't know if you could help with this. In my Polo I have a seat of Leather seats which I installed from a written off Polo. They have heating elements in them but I don't have the Switchs/Relays/Wireing looms, If its possible could you look up the parts I'd need to get these running in my car and how much the parts cost.
I'm assuming there will be a plug on the main loom in the car which I would plug the loom for the seats into.

These seats, the straight forward answer to the question is no.... the reason? well VW don't do a plug n play loom for these. If the car was built with heated seats at the factory, then the wiring is coded into the main loom at the production line, so, to get the 'proper' wiring, you have to replace the whole interior wiring loom! NOT a pleasant task as the cost for these runs into 500 >800 Pounds, so its not an options really.
Having said this, they are no big deal really!! all you need is the switches from me @ £42.67+vat each switch, a plug for each switch with is a few quid and then you have to wire the heaters yourself. This is NOT that hard! you just need to run very heavy duty wiring from the battery which is turned by by heavy duty (40 amp) relays and a fuse to feed power to the heating mats.
Any auto electrician can do with for you for , at a guess? £150 I reckon would be fair.
Its not something you can buy off the shelf, this will need to be custom made for you. No problem really, its basic wiring. Ask an electrician for a quote.

I'm confused. The ready made loom doesn't have any relays but Martyn's advice is to have them fitted. Ive got the switches plugs etc can anyone help with a wiring diagram?neilw wrote:I've got leather in my car with out the heating elements wired up.
