Annoying scraping/rubbing behind steering wheel?

What is it?
Whenever i turn the wheel i get an annoying rubbing noise, only get it somtimes, however recently more and more...
Anyone else had this problem?

I had this, its like a scraping noise it went after a couple of weeks just as I was about to get it checked out.

Hopefully that'l be the same with mine, its only come about recently past couple of days..
its asif the back of the steering wheel is rubbing on something but i cant seem to see or work out what it is..
Anyone else shed some light please :(

Just dirt an dust that gets behind there, I've had it a few times and it always goes.

me 2. i had it and was told it was something to do with the power steering but it wasnt. i just left it and let it do its own thing and it went away. just dirt and grit as far as i know.

I have this problem on my 6n, some days it makes the noise others it doesn't. Doesn't matter if it's a warm day or cold, just random :roll:

yeah as mm said its just bits of dust grit. It can be a pain but after a while it goes quite. I thought my steering wheel was coming off when i first heard it lol

If you take off the plastic cover over the steering wheel, its just two screws, you can grease the metal ring up.
